8th October 2019: Skin cancer

5th November 2019: Acute and emergency dermatology

12th November 2019: Psoriasis

10th December 2019: Student assessment day (only for those undertaking the whole course)

Programme Overview

We offer six themed study days and a learning consolidation and reflection day. To attain a course certificate, students must attend a minimum of 6 days, including day 7 which will include a short presentation by each student. Each study day will run 10:00 – 16:00.

 

Each study day will include an interactive element or practical workshop in addition to plenaries. The themed study days are: Patient assessment and overview of dermatology therapeutics, Eczema, Psoriasis, Skin cancer, Inflammatory skin conditions, Acute and Emergency dermatology.

Course Fees: £750 Full course

Fee includes – 7 full day, themed study days delivered by a variety of clinical experts (a minimum of 6 to be completed for course certificate), course handbook and further learning references. Registration is now open and payment can only be made online via our Eventbrite page using a valid debit or credit card. For those not interested in attending the whole course, each day can be attended as a single stand-alone study day at a cost of £150 per day.

Academic Credit

If academic credit is desired, students undertaking the course have the opportunity to gain 30 credits at level 6 or 7 by completing an additional standalone work based learning module via Kings College London. Further information can be found at the below link: (for level 6) Or (for level 7)Work based learning contact via email – Annie Holme or call 020 7848 3615. Registration and payment for the KCL work based learning module  is separate, and in addition to the Clinical Dermatology Care Course fees.
